Lois R. Bearnes, 82, Salina, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003. Mrs. Bearnes was born Lois R. Brenner on Feb. 6, 1921, at Culver. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1983; and a son, Stephen G., in 1958. Survivors include three sons, Ronald A. of Culver and Kent and Timothy G., both of Laurel, Neb.; four daughters, Constance J. of Jefferson City, Mo., Kay Heilman of Valley Center, Kathy Anderson of Jamestown and Stephanie Bailey of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a brother, Willis F. Brenner Jr. of Sioux Falls, S.D.; a sister, Fran Ellis of Manhattan; 16 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery, Culver. Memorials may be made to Culver Methodist Church or Hospice of Salina. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday before the service. The family will greet visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. |
