Mrs. Davis was born Fayetta A. Hill on April 12, 1935, in Salina. She was manager of the Children's Department at Stiefel/Kline's Department Store for 22 years, retiring in 1993.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber H. Davis, in 1998; and a son, Craig L. Lagroon, in 1994.

Survivors include a son, Bruce Lagroon and wife Linda of Salina; a daughter, Kay Thompson of Salina; a stepson, Dennis Davis and wife Sue of Aurora, Colo.; a stepdaughter, Carol Helmig of Denver; six grandchildren, Corey and Carly Lagroon of Salina, Eric Thompson of Kansas City, Kan., Alicia Thompson of Salina and C.L. and Ciera Lagroon of Salina; four stepgrandchildren, Shaundra and Angie Sneath, Heather Pratt and Tim Davis, all of Colorado; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, the Rev. Nancy Crowl officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
