Mrs. Waugh was born May Rose Ducote on May 8, 1936, in Cottonport, La. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by a son, Todd Grossoehme, in 1972.

Survivors include a daughter, Shona Anderson of Salina; three sons, Kevin Grossoehme of Milwaukee, Scott Grossoehme of Shawnee and Blaine Grossoehme of Garden City; two brothers, Newton Ducote of Baker, La., and Clyston Ducote of Hessmer, La.; a half sister, Vergie Armand of Alexandria, La.; a stepbrother, Vernon Ducote of Bunkie, La.; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Inurnment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood Cemetery, Franklin, Neb.
