Mrs. Matthews was born Christine Greenough on Feb. 3, 1951, at Salina. She was a court reporter.

Survivors include a son, Tom Bombardier of Topeka; a daughter, Tarci Matthews of Salina; two brothers, Steve Greenough of Gainesville, Fla., and Richard Greenough of Saint Augustine, Fla.; her mother, Alice Prater, of Gainesville, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

Private family services will be later.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

There will be no visitation.
