Loretta B. "Bunny" Otto

Loretta B. "Bunny" Otto, 79, Salina, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003.

Mrs. Otto was born Loretta Roman on June 9, 1924, in Chicago. She was a homemaker. She had served as a WAVE during World War II.

She was a member of St. Mary, Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Salina. She was also a member of St. John's Auxiliary for more than 20 years. She had served on the YWCA Board of Directors and the Salina Arts Council.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James, in May 2003.

She is survived by two sons, Mike of Salina and James of Overland Park; three daughters, Angela Robertson of St. Charles, Mo., Tricia Goodall of Tom's River, N.J., and Cynthia Graziano of Stamford, Conn.; three sisters, Alyce Konkaleski and Helen Sequens, both of Chicago; and Dale Shanahan of Fort Meyers, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mary, Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud Street, Salina, with the Most Rev. George K. Fitzsimons and the Rev. Kerry Ninemire officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A vigil and rosary service will be at 6 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary 137 N. Eighth Street, Salina.
