LINDSBORG -- Anna Owens, 97, Lindsborg, formerly of Gypsum, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003. Mrs. Owens was born Anna Sherman on June 30, 1906, in Clay Center. She was a homemaker and had lived in Andover for a short time. Her husband, Verl "Brownie," died in 1996. Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Lou Anderson and husband Forrest Marllyn of Wichita; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Gypsum Cemetery, Gypsum. Memorials may be made to Gypsum United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. |
