Francis L. "Red" Schorling, 63, Salina, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003. Mr. Schorling was born Jan. 21, 1940, at Junction City. He retired as an engineering manager for Premier Pneumatics Inc. here in Salina. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert "Rob," in 1999. Survivors include his wife, Katie; a daughter, Heather Douglas and her husband Timothy of Salina; his mother, Lillian of Salina; a brother, Steve of Fairfax, Va.; a sister, Kay L. Swisher of Salina; and four grandchildren, Blake and Kyler Lundgrin and Damon and Ivie Douglas, all of Salina. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery, Salina.
