Ruby Virginia Scott, 90, Salina, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003. Mrs. Scott was born Ruby Virginia James on June 16, 1913, at Hanover. She was a cook and aide at the Downs Nursing Home. Her husband, Elmer Edward, died in 1986. Survivors include a son, Tom of Salina; a daughter, Mary Kay of Salina; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Church of the Nazarene, Salina. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the Downs City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Downs United Methodist Church or First Church of the Nazarene, Salina. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. |
