James R. Struble
June 2, 1935 - November 7, 2003

James R. Struble, 68, Salina, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003.

Mr. Struble was born June 2, 1935, in Salina. He was a professional engineer for the State of Kansas, retiring in 1997.

He was a 1963 graduate of Wichita State University.

He was past master of both the Salina and Topeka Masonic Lodges, past secretary of the Salina Masonic Lodge and a Grand Lodge lecturer emeritus. He was a past patron of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Red Cross of Constantine, Scottish Rite Consistory, KCCH, York Rite, KYCH, Isis Shrine and Isis Shrine Brass Band.

Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Palmer and husband Tod of Haysville and Jennifer Nash and husband Dave of Hockley, Texas; a brother, Dave and wife Linda of Salina; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina, with Masonic rites by past master Doug Gomel.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina in care of the mortuary.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
