GYPSUM -- John Thomas Walker, 99, Gypsum, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003. Mr. Walker was born July 30, 1904, at Gypsum. He was a farmer-stockman. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth, in 1958; his second wife, Fern M., in 1997; and two grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Wendell T. and wife Helen of Estes Park, Colo.; a daughter, Margaret Fritz and husband Gene of Gypsum; three stepsons, Robert D. Conley and wife Doris of Gypsum, Dwight C. Conley and wife Pat of Miles City, Mont., and Fred M. Conley and wife Ilene of Smyrna, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Gypsum. Burial will be in Gypsum Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Karber Gillum Funeral Home, 902 Maple, Gypsum 67488. |
