Mr. Weigel was born Oct. 13, 1932, at Victoria. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for more than 43 years.

His wife, Phyllis, died in 1993.

Survivors include a son, LeRoy Weigel Jr., of Salina; a stepson, Ken Bolte of Lucas; a daughter, Tammy Graham of Salina; a stepdaughter, Sharon Snyder of Tulsa, Okla; two brothers, Eddie Weigel of Hays and Irvin John Weigel of Salina; two grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria. Burial will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery, with military honors by the Victoria Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
