Mr. Yockers was born Jan. 22, 1943, at Salina. He was a sheet metal supervisor for A and L Metal Products, later known as Federal-Mogul. He also worked as a sheet metal supervisor at Keystone Railway of McPherson.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth R. "Betty"; two sons, Brian of Salina and Greg and his wife, Catherine of Solomon; two sisters, Helen Sullivan of Salina and Sally Stone of Wichita; two grandchildren, Samuel and Mandy Yockers; and two stepgrandchildren, Brittnee and Mallory Catlin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud. A rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina 67401.

Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
