Destry was born Sept. 17, 1986, in Salina. He would have been a senior classman at Salina Central High School.

He was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Janice J. Allen in 2000 and Mary Lou Miller in 2002.

Survivors include his parents, Bart J. and Theresa A. Allen of the home; two brothers, Ransom Everett Allen and Lucas Welty Allen, both of the home; and his grandfathers, James Allen of Salina and Norman Miller of Overland Park.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 308 S. Eighth, Salina 67401. A private inurnment service will be at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Destry G. Allen Memorial Fund, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
