Geneva M. Baker, 58, Salina, died Monday, September 6, 2004. Mrs. Baker was born Geneva May Crain on Sept. 7, 1945, in Green Hill, N.C. She was a housekeeper for Smoky Hill Rehabilitation Center, Salina. Survivors include her husband, Don of the home; two sons, Jessie Parker of Pageland, S.C., and Ivey Parker of Ellenboro, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Cyndi Cote of Londerzeel, Belgium, and Deana Johnson of Salina; a brother, J.R. Crane of Forest City, N.C.; three sisters, Mandy Bradley of Rutherfordton, N.C., Sue Smith of Shelton, Wash., and Marie Aires of Tacoma, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, Salina. Inurnment will be at a later date in Sunset Memorial Park, Forest City, N.C. Memorials may be made to the family. There will be no visitation. Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, is handling arrangements. |
