Mrs. Baker was born Geneva May Crain on Sept. 7, 1945, in Green Hill, N.C. She was a housekeeper for Smoky Hill Rehabilitation Center, Salina.

Survivors include her husband, Don of the home; two sons, Jessie Parker of Pageland, S.C., and Ivey Parker of Ellenboro, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Cyndi Cote of Londerzeel, Belgium, and Deana Johnson of Salina; a brother, J.R. Crane of Forest City, N.C.; three sisters, Mandy Bradley of Rutherfordton, N.C., Sue Smith of Shelton, Wash., and Marie Aires of Tacoma, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, Salina. Inurnment will be at a later date in Sunset Memorial Park, Forest City, N.C.

Memorials may be made to the family.

There will be no visitation.
