Carrie Baringer, 98, Salina, died Sunday, November 28, 2004. Mrs. Baringer was born March 30, 1906, in Milford. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Salina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1995; a son, Vantress Baringer; an infant daughter, Bernadette; and two grandsons, Steven and Dennis Baringer. Survivors include a son, Doyle and wife Irene of Spring, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Bette Baringer of Las Vegas; a brother, Orville Snell of Longmont, Colo.; a brother-in-law, Irvyn Baringer and niece Deborah Powell, both of Kansas City, Kan.; her grandchildren, Mike Baringer and wife Mary Pat of Missouri City, Texas, Sandra Silbiger and husband Steve of Plymouth Meeting, Pa., Pennie Smith and husband Garry of Longmont, Colo., and Cindy Sprey of Las Vegas; 19 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum Williamsburg in Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the mortuary. |
