She was born Evelyn Stephenson on June 16, 1915 at Winfield, KS. She was an executive secretary for Wilson and Company Engineers and Architects in Salina, KS for many years, retiring in 1980.

Her professional memberships include Executive Secretaries International and Kansas Press Women's Association. She was a long time booster of Salina's little theater, now the Salina Community Theater and had roles in several productions. She also bowled for many years in local leagues.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen and wife Faye Belt of McPherson, KS and Jerry and wife Jane Belt of Salina, KS.; four grandchildren, three step grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be at 7:30 pm Monday evening at the Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth St. Salina, KS. The body was cremated, and there will be no visitation.
