Mr. Branstetter was born Jan. 10, 1945, in Salina. He was a roofer and construction worker.

Survivors include two daughters, Heather Massey of Salina and Tracy Cheek of Mantica, Calif.; three brothers, Theodore, Lynch "Ed" and Robert, all of Salina; five sisters, Gladys Hart, Norma Nickel and Connie Shull, all of Salina, Sonja O'Brien of San Antonio and Sharon Stokes of Moweaqua, Ill.; and five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

The body was cremated.
