Mrs. Buckley was born Dorothy A. Wilson on Jan. 20, 1930, in Effingham. She was a registered nurse, working at both hospitals in Salina for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis W., in 1998.

Survivors include a son, Francis W. Jr. and wife Brenda of Salina; two daughters, Theresa A. Buckley and husband Thad Beach and Cynthia L. and husband John Markel, all of Salina; a sister, Lois Sleichter and husband Lawrence of Abilene; and seven grandchildren, Melanie and Jennifer Buckley, Travis and Lanie Smith, Jacob and Abigail Markel and Keaton Beach.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Salina. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. today at the Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina.
