Mrs. Buere was born Clarita B. Buenaebra on Aug. 11, 1919, in the Philippine Islands. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Toribio Buere, in 1944; her second husband, Emeterio Aliporo, in 1995; and a son, Rodolfo Buere, in 1944.

Survivors include six daughters, Araceli "Sally" Miller of Salina, Lilian Bravo and Marinet Jose, both of the Philippines, Vivian Haight of St. Mary, Ga., Mirriam Herrick of Osage and Fely McCartney of Seattle; 27 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
