Mrs. Cain was born Mary Frances Leister on Aug. 23, 1928, in Solomon. She worked for Consolidated Printing Co., Salina. She was a Sunflower Bank First Lady and a member of the Salina Women's Bowling Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Swede" Cain, in 1987.

Survivors include a sister, Anise DeMars of Salina; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Solomon.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
