Doris A. Carter, 82, Salina, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004. Mrs. Carter was born Doris A. Stanley on Nov. 17, 1921, in Ottawa County. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her friend Bill Carter of Salina; a daughter, Brenda L. Watts and husband Brian of Salina; a sister, Delores Gawith of Salina; two grandchildren, Nicholas Watts and Jennifer Watts, both of Salina; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Culver Union Cemetery, near Culver. Memorials may be made to the Doris A. Carter Memorial Fund. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today. |
