Mr. Carlson was born Dec. 24, 1923. He was a farmer and rancher.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donovan and Gary.

Survivors include a brother, Phillip and wife Theresa H. of Great Bend; a niece, Lexa Brown of Gypsum; and two nephews, William Lee Carlson of Martinsburg, W.V., and Lanny Neil Carlson of Ames, Iowa.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Gypsum, with the Rev. Carl K. Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Cemetery.
