Mr. Christensen was born December 7, 1929 in Pueblo, CO. He worked as an electrical engineer for Continental Telephone for 23 years, retiring in 1986.

Survivors include his wife, Jovita of Salina; a brother, Gary Christensen of Depoe Bay, OR; and a sister, Merrilyn Brown of Hebron, NE.

The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina or the Presbyterian Manor Building Fund.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
