Mrs. Cole was born Evangeline F. Dewitt on February 18, 1915, in LeRoy. She was a farm wife.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward in 1986; and a son, Dorrance in 1995.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Cole of Bavaria; two daughters, Karen Hudson of Brookville and Alice Horacek of Alexander; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Brookville.
