Mr. Cole was born Feb. 25, 1951, in Parsons. He had been employed at Aerospace Systems, Salina, as an inventory clerk.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda, of the home; two sons, Ensign Adam and wife Ensign Nicole of Virginia Beach, Va., and Keith of the home; a daughter, Emily of the home; two brothers, Randy of Phoenix and Kevin and wife Sue of Victorville, Calif.; and his mother, Ruth E. Cole of Phoenix.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, Salina, with Father Dana Clark and Father Kerry Ninemire officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery with military honors by Fort Riley.

A vigil and rosary service will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
