Mrs. Culley was born Maxine Jennings on June 24, 1919, in Salina. She was a school teacher and graduated from Kansas Wesleyan in 1966. She was married to Joe Culley for more than 50 years and was a 70-year member of University United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Culley.

Survivors include two sons, Bruce of Gladstone, Mo., and Dennis of Los Angeles; a twin sister, Claudine Washington of Atlanta; and a grandchild.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at University United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to University United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
