Mrs. Currie was born Venita Ilene Seim on October 19, 1926 at Kipp, KS. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry in 1999.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Rex Currie of Orlando, FL; one daughter, Cindy L. Currie of Kansas City, MO; and one brother, Dean Seim of Salina.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. A private inurnment service will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials are suggested to the Presbyterian Manor of Salina.
