Mr. Decker was born Aug. 28, 1915, in Burr Oak. He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye, in 1977; his second wife, Fern, in 1991; two sisters, Audrey Decker and Ardith Elaine Bang; two grandsons, Bret Decker and Tim Whisler; and a great-granddaughter, Corissa Whisler.

Survivors include a son, Billie A. Decker of Sterling, Colo.; two daughters, Betty Joan White of Salina and Cheryl Diane Rose of Tacoma, Wash.; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, Salina, the Rev. Greg Guy officiating. Inurnment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Burr Oak Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina.

There will be no visitation. Following the inurnment service, there will be a reception at the Burr Oak United Methodist Church.
