Mrs. Dockstader-Gilbert was born Jerri K. Dockstader on May 15, 1957, in Salina. She retired after 20 years of service from the Air Force as a Master E7 Sergeant and participated in Desert Strom and Desert Shield.

Survivors include her parents, Marilyn Herwig of Salina and Robert L. Dockstader of Bunker Hill; a brother, Robert H. Dockstader of Salina; and two sisters, Marsha Wheeler and Shari Dodge, both of Salina.

A private family service will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Glen Elder.

Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 62 Nurses Training.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
