Orville A. Driscoll
November 29, 1911 - January 13, 2004

Orville A. Driscoll, 92, Salina, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004.

Mr. Driscoll was born Nov. 29, 1911, in Gypsum. He worked for Robinson Mill, Union Pacific Railroad and Western Star Mill, all of Salina.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian; his second wife, Vera Mae; two sons, John and Richard; a great-grandchild, Lindsey Mae Kreutzer; a stepson, Steve Halstead; a brother, LeRoy; and four sisters, Anna Stout, Mae Prater, Betty Lee Prater and Laura Driscoll.

Survivors include a son, Jerry of Russell; a daughter, Janet Perez of Conroe, Texas; a stepdaughter, Linda Duffy of Salina; a brother, Vernon of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Jack Driscoll officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the Shalimar Health Center Memorial Fund.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
