Mrs. Farmer was born Juanita Fuller on March 29, 1923 at Salina. She worked for Weeks grocery store, Salina, for eleven years and was a day care provider throughout the Salina area until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Farmer in 1991 and a son, John Lee Farmer Jr. in 1951.

Survivors include one son, Gary Farmer and wife Carol of Salina, one daughter, Shirley Blanton of Salina; six grandchildren, Cindy Necaise of Rehoboth, DE, John Farmer of San Ramon, CA, Leslie Velasquez of Salina, Chad Farmer of Salina, Judy Brewer of Castalian Springs, TN, and Brenda Cornelius-Bowser of Salina; and twelve great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Nancy Crowl officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
