Margaret J. Frank, 77, Salina, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004.

Ms. Frank was born May 2, 1926, at Hays. She was the executive secretary of International Milling Co. for 24 years and the financial aid director at Marymount College in Salina for 19 years, until her retirement in 1989.

She was a charter member of St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, where she had served on many church boards and church committees. She was also a member of St. Mary's Ladies Guild, RENEW, Alpha Beta 140 Sorority for 57 years, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Sunflower Doll Collectors of Salina, Saline County Chapter of the Native Daughters of Kansas, Classic League Bowling, Interparochial Seniors, Ladies Elks, Smoky Hill Genealogical Society and the Salina Regional Health Center Auxiliary.

She is survived by two brothers, F.E. Frank of Salina and Charles Frank of Aurora, Colo.; two sisters, Jenny Keeler of Salina and Mary Jo Schuster of Sheboygan, Wis.; 22 nieces and nephews; and 25 great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, Salina, Monsignor James Hake officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A vigil-rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, the Rev. Steve Heina and Sister Margaret Jilka presiding.

Memorials may be made to the church or Salina Emergency Aid-Food Bank.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
