Mr. Frederick was born Aug. 7, 1926, in Smolan. He was a retired carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Lois J. and Betty Y.

Survivors include five sons, Robert W. and Thomas E., both of Frederick, Colo., Donald G. of Denver, Ronald L. of Salina and James A. of Sylvan Grove; a brother, Charles of Illinois; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
