Mr. Frye was born November 2, 1947 in Mankato. He was a mechanic for Philips Lighting.

Survivors include his wife, Marge, of the home; a daughter, Jennifer Frye of Wichita; a sister, Myra Bolt of Clearwater, FL; his step-mother, Lorraine Frye of Winfield; a step-sister, Mary Nichols of Winfield; and a step-brother, Mike Dillon of Manhattan.

The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina or the Salina Animal Shelter in care of the mortuary.
