Mrs. Garinger was born Edna Lenore White on March 16, 1907, in Jefferson County. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L., in 1985.

Survivors include a son, Dale of Ozawkie; a daughter, Jeanette Prewett of Shepherd, Mich.; six grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 302 S. Seventh. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
