Mrs. Hyde was born Fontella M. Sula on Feb. 3, 1928, in Hays. She was a secretary for Mowry Clinic, Salina, for seven years and Oakdale Elementary School, Salina, for 15 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H., in 1988.

Survivors include her three sons, Barry J. and Anthony S., both of Lawrence and Todd J. of Topeka; and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
