Mr. Kalb was born Nov. 7, 1922, in Mentor. He was a farmer and worked for Tescott Cheese, Tescott, for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delma D., in 1995.

Survivors include three daughters, Marilyn Kalb of Salina, Charlene Dierking and husband John of Littleton, Colo., and Lleanna Westerman and husband Gary of Nashville; two sisters, Sestia Burch and Betty Felton, both of Salina; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tescott. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery, south of Tescott.
