Mrs. Luehring was born Grace Helen Marie Smetana on Nov. 23, 1928, in Hanover. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Smetana and the former Pauline Lillian Kubicek; and a sister, Josephine Ebeling.

Survivors include two daughters, Peggy DeBey and her husband Wayne of Salina and Kathy Torline and her husband Gary Nordstrom of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a son, Johnny Luehring; three sisters, Helen Ray of Topeka, Dorothy McGinley of Kansas City, Mo., and Clara Ebeling of Hanover; a special friend, Rich Newman of Salina; and three grandchildren, Ephanie DeBey of Tulsa, Okla., Rana DeBey of Bloomington, Ind., and Jesse DeBey of Wichita.

Cremation will follow private family services.

Inurnment will be in The Gardens of Christ Episcopal Cathedral.

There will be no visitation.
