Mrs. McCourt was born Alice V. Deaton on July 19, 1909, in Scott City. She was a sales clerk at Low's Drug Store in Salina.

Her husband, George McCourt Sr., died in 1963.

Survivors include a son, George of Bartlesville, Okla.; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Private inurnment will be in St. Patrick's Church Cemetery, Atchison.

A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401.
