Mrs. McPhail was born Sept. 2, 1920, in Waldo. She worked for the Bolen Wood Real Estate and Insurance Agency and the Bolen Family Trusts for 61 years, starting in 1943.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rolland R. McPhail, in 1984; and a grandson, Jamie Orosz, in 1984.

Survivors include a son, Larry McPhail of Salina; a daughter, Patti Orosz of Amherst, Ohio; a sister, Viola Jordan of Missouri; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m.Monday at the Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating.
