Mildred I. Miller, 93, Salina, died Friday, October 8, 2004. Mrs. Miller was born Mildred I. Miller on June 20, 1911, in Brookville. She was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Brookville High School; a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Salina; a 4-H cooking leader; and a member of Friendly Neighbor Club. Her husband, Ralph W., died in 1979. Survivors include two sons, Ed and wife Judy, and Don, all of Salina; two daughters, Mary Gringere of Salina and Dorothy Williford and husband Bill of Edgewood, N.M.; five grandchildren, Donna Morris and husband Rick, Tami Rider and husband Darold, Linda Davis and husband Troy, Sandra Starr and husband Pat and Milette Johnson; eight great-grandchildren, Brandon Funke, Angela Rider, Donnie Edinborough, Caleb Davis, Jessica Rider, Deedra Morris, Kyler Starr and Kenzie Starr; and special friends, William and Ellen Steck. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. N. Rene Colaw officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or Macular Degeneration Research. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. |
