Mrs. Perez was born Elena G. Gonzales on Dec. 24, 1924, at Fresnillo Zac, Mexico. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Ramon of the home; three sons, Isaac of Garden City, and Pedro and Abel, both of Salina; two daughters, Rosa L. Hermosillo of Garden City and Irma Contreras of Minneapolis; two brothers, Ruben Martinez of Garden City and Israel Martinez of El Paso, Texas; three sisters, Raquel Barrera of Garden City, Noemi Martinez of Salina and Irene Pinedo of Mexico; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
