Mr. Peterson was born October 12, 1955, at Wichita. He was the former co-owner and had worked in sales for Vortex Company in Salina until 1993.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa I. of the home; two daughters, Erin Irene Peterson and Rachel Eilene Peterson, both of the home; his parents, Loren N. and Joyce E. Peterson of Hot Springs, AR; a brother and his wife, John and Brenda Peterson of Salina; and a sister and her husband, Christine and Lee Young of Salina.
