Ms. Rathert was born July 1, 1916, at Salina. She was a school teacher with USD #305 for over 30 years, retiring in 1978.

She is survived by three cousins, Joan Bright of Ypsilanti, MI., Helen Davis of New York, and Raymond Rathert of Topeka; her dear friend Erma Norman of Salina; and numerous dear relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
