Mrs. Sears was born Ethel M. Miller on Jan. 17, 1922, in Salina. She was a bookkeeper for Central Kansas Electric.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T. Wayne.

Survivors include a son, Ted of Salina; two daughters, Glenda Hopkins of Salina and Linda Pickler of El Paso, Texas; a brother, Arthur Miller of Jackson Hole, Wyo.; a sister, Norma Rogers of Pearland, Texas; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Roselawn Memorial Park.
