Mr. Summers was born Oct. 5, 1952, in Bay Village, Ohio. He worked in quality control for A-Plus Galvanizing, worked for Graves Truck Line Traffic Department and was traffic manager for ADM Milling Co.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Summers; and a daughter, Lauren Michelle Summers.

Survivors include his significant other, Vicki A. Wittecar; a stepson, Kyle Wittecar; two daughters, Rachael Summers and Jessica Summers; a stepdaughter, Stacia Wittecar; his mother, Betsy Summers of Pennsylvania; a brother, Jon Summers and wife Penny of Pennsylvania; a sister, Laurie Summers-Blevins and husband Gary of Spokane, Wash.; his ex-wife, Barbara Summers; and a grandchild.

The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
