Mrs. Swanson was born Irene A. Stenfors on Sept. 15, 1913, in Assaria. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris; her parents, John and Goldie Stenfors; two brothers, Kenneth and Forrest Stenfors; and a sister, Charmaine Magnuson.

Survivors include a son, Johnnie Swanson, of Salina; a sister, Shirley Keeler, of Salina; a sister-in-law, Genevieve Stenfors of Salina; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, with Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the Assaria Lutheran Church or the Aviary Fund at Smoky Hill Rehabilitation Center, Salina.
