Mrs. Swisher was born to Herbert L. Donal and Ellie M. McDonald on March 5, 1916 in Canton, KS. She was a home maker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. on January 1, 2003 and a daughter, Phyllis M. Ayers on July 5, 2002.

Survivors include one son, Curts J. of Wood River, IL; one sister, Marjorie Frame of Salina; one brother-in-law, Jim Sterling of California; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at the Mentor United Methodist Church, Mentor, with the Rev. Christi Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gypsum Cemetery, Gypsum.
