Mrs. Tweedy was born Dorothea A. Faelber on July 9, 1921 at Gypsum, KS. She was a clerk for Gibsons in Salina for over 23 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband John who died in 1995.

She is survived by two sons, Michel Tweedy of Salina, and Doug and wife Denise Tweedy of Gypsum; one Daughter, Jan Dockstader and husband Robert of Salina; one Brother, Kendall Faelber of Salina; three grandchildren, Tamara Tweedy, Eric Tweedy and Jennifer Stanley.

A Graveside Service for cremains will be 2:00 pm July 3, 2004 at the Gypsum Cemetery, Gypsum.

Memorials are suggested to the Salina Audubon Society, in care of the family.

There will be no visitation.
