Paul Ware
January 26, 1910 - October 16, 2004

GYPSUM --Paul Ware, 85, Gypsum, died Saturday, October 16, 2004.

He was born January 26, 1910 at Monett, Missouri. He worked for many years as a laborer with the Twin Falls Canal Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Ware and Elizabeth Ann McPherson; his first wife, Edith Irene Payne in 1972; his second wife, Nannie Graybeal in 1990; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one son, Charles "Wayne" Ware and his wife June of Roxbury; three step-grandchildren, Robb Parks of Gypsum, Jason Parks and wife Tina of Ottawa, and Carina Friedl and husband Charles of Lincoln, Nebraska; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Gypsum. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Overbrook City Cemetery, Overbrook.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany Home, Lindsborg or Hospice of Salina in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Karber Gillum Funeral Home, 902 Maple Street, Gypsum, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
